Inside the Apothecary

What is an Herbalist? The dictionary defines it as a practitioner of herbalism (the study or practice of the medicinal and therapeutic use of plants.)

But I think our souls know it’s something simpler as well as something deeper. You don’t need to have a doctorate to know nature is healing for our bodies, minds, and souls. Just take a walk through the forest and experience the therapeutic value of plants. The way the smell and frequency can reset your nervous system. Age old recipes without explanation, like our grandparents chicken noodle soup packed full of thyme and oregano and garlic this is a form of herbalism that needs only a generation to pass it to the next, no college degree. Herbalism is humanity’s connection with nature at one of the deepest levels, a delicate dance with the vital life force at its center. It is simple yet complex, and you can enjoy it at any level.
